Syncopated Subdivisions: Lesson 7 Practice Patterns 710-720

In these syncopated subdivision patterns the focus is on dotted quarter notes on the second half of the beat and syncopations that use ties. The examples are all in 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 time signatures, so the quarter note is equal to one beat. View page 1 of Lesson 7 for more syncopated subdivision patterns.

For more explanations of these rhythms, read the introduction to syncopated subdivisions. Also, see the practice suggestion page for syncopations.

More Practice Patterns: Syncopated rhythms with eighth notes followed by rests, and syncopated quarter notes, patterns 701-710.
